After searching since 2005 I finally have some seeds on the way. :) Now I need
some wonderful Australian folks to spell out just the best way to succeed in germinating them using what medium and temperature and to pre chill even though they are not supposed to need it etc. I will be ever so grateful and also what the Atherton area is like climate wise and the edge of the rainforest. As you have no doubt heard we are having an especially beastly hot summer but we are usually in the low 90's and humid May thru Sept. and then dryer and cooler with one or two frost days the rest of the year. I am hoping these would fruit like the Mysore in the dryer cooler season. Mysore do very well here so also if you can compare the Atherton to them there in the same area. Is it allowable to put my email in a message like this? I have never been able to master preferences but sure would like to communicate with some of you. |

| The links came before the message. I meant to say that, these forums are pretty slow now. I googled and you probably have done plenty of - I saw your posts elsewhere. I can't help I'm in a different area, further south. I think you might find that even in the Atherton area or wherever grown, it'd be propagated vegetatively not by seed. Clue to bird/animal dispersal? Thought you might try James Cook Uni in Cairns or the Department of Primary Industries in Qld they could have some botanists with knowledge or links? Good luck anyway |
