I remember a plant I encountered as a child in the Wodonga/Albury area. It was a low growing plant with purple flowers and it's perfume was just like chocolate! I really can't describe it more that this because it was longer ago than I care to remember. It was quite prolific through the paddocks up there. Does anyone know what it is? I'd love to grow it in Melbourne if I could.
Cheers,
Dee. |

| Is it by any chance, Arthropodium strictum? Do a Google on this name and check the photos. If it is not this plant, maybe it is not native. |

Thanks for that Robert, I think it probably is that. I have found a supplier in my neighbourhood, so I will give it a try. Do you have any growing tips for this plant? Cheers, Dee. |
