Sorry I grow any Banksia actually I never have so I cannot help you really, but seeing you are getting no answers from your topic I have tried searching for pics of those two Banksia leaves. Have a look on this link Banksia dentata the leaves are a different shape to your pic. Your plant seems to be lacking something if you do feed it do not use fertlizers with phosphorus in it I am sorry I cannot help much. If you get on to the link below and type in the name of your plants there is heaps of info there, lots of photo's also so you may be able to find your plant. Best of luck...Misty |

Hi Rob still think this is most likely to be B coccinea ; have grown some from seed myself some yrs ago; looked like that initally ; the next new growth should be more characteristic. The serrations get less intense. Good luck with it ; is a lovely but touchy plant. Have put a link to some new Australian proteacae plants below |
