For those Melbournian's who are interested in Native Plants, you'd be interested in what's on offer at Frankston if you haven't been before.

George Pentland Botanic Gardens
Foot / Williams Street, Frankston
Directly behind the Frankston Hospital
Melways Ref. 102 E5

This is a well maintained Botanic Gardens with a great variety of plants. It is well set out and also caters for children with a good play area.

Well worth the trip - with or without kids.

justcorreas, thanks for the tip, I have looked at the website and the gardens are very interesting.
Next time I am in Melbourne and have a bit of time up my sleeve I will visit the gardens.
