Hi All,
I grown up seeing Casuarina trees (locally known as Rhu tree) in my country. I know they are Casuarina equisetifolia.
I often come across the rest of the Casuarina trees in the website, notably:
1. Casuarina cunninghamiana
2. Casuarina glauca
3. Casuarina cristata
Not in any particular orders.
I would like our gardenweb members describe more about the three above as I did not find many information in the any websites.
For example, how to differentiate the three above? Which is more suitable for hotter, drier, wetter climate? Which has a less greyish green appearance? Which is more columnar or conical in shape? Which has more ornamental value? etc.
Thank in advance for those who contribute and educate me.
Best.
