Mine died from scale :-( It was so beautiful and my favorite.
Does anyone have one to trade for? They are difficult to find in nurseries in this area.
Thanks
How would we know whether they're difficult to find in a nursery in Missouri? Maybe you should try to find something that's native to your own country.
You need to also consider quarentine issues. It is just not the right thing to do to go off and import bilogical material into you country and placing your agriculture sector amd your environment at risk from new plant diseases etc.
They would be grown in the states and thats the best place to start looking. There is a nursery in California..I think its called Australian Plants..they would probably have Cyathea and Dicksonia species growing there. regards Kris
There is a treefern discussion group on Yahoo, but I'm being blocked when I try to give you the e-mail address.
Why not try this treefern discussion group? Plenty of people in the US grow Dicksonia anatarctica and Cyathea cooperi, so there must be some available at nurseries.
