| Hi
does flowers are loosing there fragrance, i my opinion no, what do u all suggest.Flowers are kind of thing which makes you energetic and fresh by there nature.

Yes, fernsnpetals, one does hear people say that flowers are losing their fragrance. I think this has more to do with their attitude to life than any real situation, though it is true that some plant breeders have produced plants with improved visual appearance and reduced perfume. Australian natives include huge numbers with beautifully fragrant flowers, so we're OK here! But have you heard the story that Mimulus species worldwide lost their fragrance in a particular year - about 1914, I think? Now there's a botanical curiosity, if it's true! Trish G. |

| I just went for a walk and smelt the sweet fragrance of Wattle flowers, early, I thought. Couldnt see them anywhere, but it was wonderful. Flowers loose their frangrance when they are cultivars, improve the look at the expense of the fragrance. Popi |
