 o
will treefern regrow?

We recently bought a house with about 20 beautiful tree-ferns that had not been watered for 1-2 years and have completely died off. But when i dug a few up they had live roots. So will they grow back with frequent watering (we have installed rainwater tanks now)??? Or do I have to replace them? thanks.

RE: will treefern regrow?

Look in the crown for any green and healthy unfurled fronds. If you find any then it will grow back.

If all the unfurled fronds are black and there are no signs of any new ones then the crown may be dead, in which case the whole fern is dead.
