climber suggestions for N facing fenceline

We have a new fence going in along the N side of a house. As it's a corner block, there is a 26m stretch of fenceline in full sun. The fenceline will be just inside the boundary, to allow planting outside the fence. We're wondering about planting climbers against the fenceposts. As there is a footpath running alongside the fence the climbers will need to have a neat or clinging habit, and will need to thrive in full sun. Any suggestions? I was thinking of that shiny leaf native jasmine. There will be wires running along the top of the fence which will hold some weight. many thanks
