| The flowers on my Australian Paw plant, Emerald Bush, have changed from Red/Green to an unsightly yellow. I've researched online to no avail. Any ideas/thoughts as to why this is happening? Thanks! |

| many pretty flowers are 'sports' or special mutations. sometimes the plant 'reverts' to its species form. I suspect this is what has happened to yours. If you don't like it, dig it out and plant a new on. The one at our front door is a dull yellow too, perhaps it was meant to be something else. I've never heard of this happening though. cymbidiums are notorious for this apparently. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Back_mutation another possibility is that these are just the dead flowers. |
