petalled pinus looking shrub?

Ok so it's not a Pinus but it's really similiar looking but with very dense soft dark green foliage and small, quite attractive 2 X 1 inch flowers. At the mo it's about 1-1.5 m X 1-1.5m. I've never seen one before and need to know what it is.

It's growing at a local electric sub-station which has been landscaped quite well with what I assume are natives. I've only got a flower for now but I'll get a pic of said plant up soon.

Alyogyne hakeifolia from the coastal fringe of The Great Australia Bite region.

Closely related to Hibiscus as your have probably guessed.
