Bush lemons

Any information on bush lemons and whether they can be used in the same ways as common lemons, would be appreciated.

Hi Daisyduckworth,
Yes you can use bush lemons (citronelles) in the same way as normal lemons. They are just a more primitive lemon. They are usually used as the root stock for grafted varieties. You will need a lot more of them to get much juice because they are very thick skinned, have heaps of seeds and are not as juicy. They are quite sweet and palatable. They are tough as old boots and will grow in arid or drought prone areas.
