Hibiscus splendens and phosphorus

Can anyone tell me if H. splendens is sensitive to phosphorus? I have a few seedlings and don't want to burn them. Also how much heat and humidity can they take- can I expect that they will do well in the southern US? It's very hot and humid here with heavy rain at times. Temps constantly over 32C during the summer. Thanks Frank

Sounds like Brisbane weather to me so they will be Ok I have no trouble growing Hibiscus.
They will be able to take all the heat and humidity you are getting....
No Hibiscus like much phosphorus even the one I grow, less would be best here.
Have a look at the link below plenty of info there on the other links also..

Do you get SUMMER rain? That's what we have here, and our local Hibisci expect quite a bit of it. Otherwise you may need to do a bit of supplementary watering.
