Sprinkle the seed on a tray of gently pressed down seed raising mix. Keep moist, in the sun.

I've been successful in raising these using almost the above method and also a light cover of small gravel (3-4mm dia) one layer thick across the top of the surface. This acts as a mulch and keeps the mix damp without restricting the seedlings from pushing through. Keep the mix in a shaded area until the seedlings are just through the mix and then out into filtered sun until about 10mm high then into full sun unless very hot. Keep them moist!
