I would also encourage people to join their district group.

We have been members for just on a year and have learnt so much from fantastic guest speakers. Met some great people and shared lots of experiences.

Also, at the time of responding the AGSP Farrer site seems to be broken.

I would also like to highly recommend the SGAP. When we bought our land in a sensitive wildlife area I decided native garden was the way to go, and immediately joined up to SGAP. The members in my local group are so knowledgable, kind and helpful and I have learnt so much and made some lovely friends into the bargain. They have outings and bush walks and plant identification walks as well as wonderful speakers on a wide range of interesting subjects.Tina
