| On gardening australia there is a fact sheet on the above only it is not there Does anybody have it or advise how to do it Thanks |

| Depends how old and big the clump is. You can use a spade and just cut through into segments. I divide them into pieces about half the size of my spade. Take as much root as possible. Cut all the top growth off. Every Autumn about now, I cut the top growth down to ground level to control Black Ink Fungus. I actually cut them back just over a week ago, and now there are fresh green shoots coming away already. |

| I have also cut mine down - but I think I did it too early in the summer and they have gone all brown with no regrowth - do you think I've killed them? Aggie |
