Cryptocarya laevigata

I have some seed to this plant, any ideas on how large it gets?

Is it a shrub, or am I going to get a tree, assuming that the seeds germinate?

Thanks rainforest experts.

RE: Cryptocarya laevigata

Popi,
it seems that you have one of the medium sized varieties that can grow up to 10 meters but conditions mean everything and it is more likely to grow to half this size. Tree or shrub? Depends on how you prune it. It likes full sun to part shade (understorey plant) and grows in a wide variety of soils but likes a well drained, moist position with plenty of nutrients (use a humus). Then again, once established you could probably ignore it and it would do well. Follow the link below for more reliable info.
