I poked around and did find mention of other species of Proiphys native to your southwest and read that Calostemma luteum does range along the south boundaries to the southwest ecoregions. I just now visited your website. Quite nice. Did you know that there are some very nice hybrids of intergrades of Calostemma luteum and C. purpureum? Could be some fun -- and profitable -- work for an amateur breeder/selector. Joe |
