| Could any member be kind enough to help find me some fresh Archirhodomyrtus Beckleri seeds? It seems this plant can be found in NSW and QLD. I am prepared to pay for airmail postage. Thanks. |

This species is a hardy subtropical-tropical disturbance loving species and it probably isnt a good idea to send seeds to Singapore, even though where you live is an island ! regards Kris |

| Kris, sorry I am not sure what you meant when you said "sub-tropical disturbance loving species". Are you saying that this plant is considered a "pest" in that it upsets the eco-balance of the forest?. We have our own rose myrtle (Rhodomyrtus Tomentosa) in S'pore which has been considered by US as a pesky weed but somehow this plant has become a rarity now in S'pore. It too is very lovely but has the same flower as the Archirhodomyrtus Beckleri except that the fruit is more like "blueberry" ie in terms of taste and many tiny seeds in one fruit. |
