Australian Natives question

Hi all just signed up and looking forward to some plant talk :)

What I'm wondering atm is if anyone's had luck at tricking natives (or any for that matter) into not going into their dormant stage over dry periods. These are tricky plants to do it with, as they are spore droppers and pretty dainty ferns, mosses and Drosera that im concerned with. All three grow really well here during the wet season (Nothern Territory) but when the dry season comes they just shut down and die off untill the next wet when their spores regrow, I'v tried watering but it just seems too ingrained in their life cycle to beat it.

I would love to grow these three in a terrarium type set up year round, so wondering if there's any tricks to making them stick around.
