Hi after recently traveling to india i am mad keen to get my hands on a curry leaf tree as those unreasonable people at the customs would not let me bring any back into the country!!!!
Is there anywhere that i can get some seeds from or a tree???
I live in victoria, melb.

I've not seen seed anywhere but I'm sure your local nursey could get one in for you. You can buy them online (see the link below) but they're not cheap. Apparently they throw up suckers which can be readily propagated, also root cuttings and of course seed.

Here is a link that might be useful: Murraya koenigii

Check all your local Asian grocers - and if they sell plants but don't have the curry leaf, ask as they may know someone who can get one for you.

I,m sure you shouldn't have any trouble finding a curry leave tree if you ask a decent nursery for one I have recently bought 3 from my local nursery and if they can get them anyone can, which cost me $12.00 each, and yes it is Murraya Koenigii that you use for curry cooking.
