| Hey hey,
I have quite a fair bit of Wormwood or Artemesia absinthinum and am wondering how to extract constituents from the plant. I am particularly interested in isolating the poisonous or toxic constituents of the plant. I wish to test its effectiveness.
If anyone knows any information on how to use or isloate this plants compunds this would gladly be appreciated. I would be best contacted at mrhoneycutt@internode.on.net

| I don't really know, but the beverage absinth is forbidden till ages, not for the alcohol but for the poisonous herbs used. There is a quite famous painting which shows absinthdrinkers (I forgot the atrist - Picasso?) this painting shows the ill faces of people consuming absinth regulary. But absinth is an insect-repellent. I never would take it internally. |
