What a Find!

Recently my son introducted me to Ebay (dangerous for a compulsive like moi). So far I have bought several daylilies, some stephanotis, ifafa lilies and the best to date, which I found yesterday just hours before it finished, Hierochloe odorata or Sweetgrass. I haven't actually been looking to acquire this herb but it was too good an opportunity to miss. I really must stop looking in Ebay.

Anna, I've been curious about Hierochloe odorata since I first heard of it couple of years ago. Did you purchase it? You'll have to let us know what you think of it if you did.

Jamus, I did purchase it and I should receive it sometime next week. I will definitely let you know more about it. I hope it lives up to expectations.

Hi Anna
I found some of this a while ago. I'll look forward to swapping cultivation notes. At the moment I have some in a pot and some in the ground.

Good luck with ebay I paid for 2 gingers from a guy in bulimba here in Brisbane and received nothing. All he gave was a po box no. but i paid it directly into his account. Was tempted to drive over and wait outside the po box Grrr I hate people like that not ebaying anymore.

Hello you all,
I am new here and say hello to the herb forum.
I have Hierochloe as well, nice grass nice smell. I think it is mainly used in smudging and I liked the description to flavour vodka, also I am not too keen on vodka.
