Herb Robert/Germanium Robertianum, weed or wonder herb

I,ve been going all over the world to differant sites trying to find reliable information about this wonderful herb.
What got me started,is that for over 10 years i have had a health condition that has really affected my life. After dozens of doctors and many specialists, they all said they could not help me.
Well..i got onto a lady that deals in rare medicinal herbs, because i was desperate to get some help.
She said that the above herb had helped many people with my condition, and although very skeptical about "natural medicine",i thought I'd try it.
Within 6 weeks I started to notice a remarkable change in how i felt.
The problem is,that it only works if eaten fresh, not dried. This is a problem because i have never even grown a weed in my life, and so i lost many crops. So i started to try and find people that did know how to grow it so that i could have a good supply.
This has led me to many sites around the world, some of which, say this herb is a weed and they do all manor of things to kill it,not knowing that many people have even been cured of some forms of cancer.
So i wanted to share this with you all in the hope that some might gain what i have.
Take a look at the following site.

Be open minded, but not gullible, and you might find like i did, that what some people consider a weed and a pest, might be something else and help you get over some serious health problems.
The key active mineral is germanium, only one other plant in the world has it,but the above web page explains all that.

Gee, if herbs are weeds, then my garden has nothing else but weeds in it! Some people go so far as to say that all herbs are weeds. Think of chickweed, dandelion, burdock, couch grass, stinging nettles, dock, agrimony, (and thousands of others) and then check up on their medicinal and culinary uses before you begin to dig them out of your precious vege patch or lawn! IMO, Herb Robert is a very attractive plant, to add to its virtues.

Herb Robert is used for several medicinal purposes. Amongst other things, it is used to treat inflammations under the fingernails and toenails (felon). Hence one of its other names, Felonwort. As a styptic, it's also called Bloodwort. It is reputed to help reduce cancerous tumors, but there hasn't been a lot of scientific research into it, and most reported 'success stories' are merely anecdotal. It's useful information, but if it had close to 100% success rate, some marketing person out there would be extremely wealthy by now, and the medical reports would be raving about it! It's been a folklore remedy for quite some time now, so you have to ask yourself why chemist's shelves aren't overcrowded with bottles of the stuff. I doubt if it's the 'magic wand' so people people want.

Still, if it works for you, that's a very happy outcome.

While on the subject, I'm trying to discover whether, when you see a remedy calling for 'geranium', is it really Herb Robert which is being referred to, or is it one of the scented pelargoniums? Does anybody know for sure? I've found it (geranium) listed (with no further information) as a remedy for 'internal bleeding'. To add to the confusion, both Herb Robert and the 'scented geraniums' (pelargoniums) have a styptic action.

As each pharmacy medicine treats specific complaints, this is the case with natural remedies. They are specific.
Because a pharmacy medicine only treats certain ailments,we dont dismis their benifits because they dont fix everything.
This is the same with medicinal herbs. They dont fix everything, only specific things.
No pharmacy medicine has 100% success,so why do we expect that herbs are any differant?
As for which herb it is refering to,i dont know because i dont know the material you are talking about. But the web site i refered to only talks about herb robert.
Hope that helps

Like Daisyduckworth's garden,my allotment isfullof'weeds'so I get frequent admonishments from the allotment officer
I reel off a list of uses and he goes away with a bemused look on his face then leaves me alone for a while.
With regards to the question 'if herb robert is effective why is it not it on the chemists' shelves'there is more money in synthetic remedies than herbs. We in the U.K. consume tonnes of diurectics and destroy tonnes of dandelion which is a proven diurectic.
