Parsley

Hi I have my parsley in a pot and recently some of the leaves have started to yellow. Gets direct sun from 11ish well into the afternoon.
Is this a heat/water issue or something else?

thanks

RE: Parsley

Yellow leaves are dying leaves. If yours are mainly at the bottom, they're probably dying from old age. Always harvest parsley from the bottom, which are the oldest leaves, and let the new ones, which spring out from the top centre, spill downwards in a continuing flow. If ALL the leaves are turning yellow, it might be a good idea to put the plant into partial shade. Never let parsley dry out completely, but don't let it sit in a soggy morass, either.

Try a liquid feed, too. The only yellowing parsely I have had of late was due to lack of water.
