If anyone's interested, saw in Bunnings Mile End M. australis. Don't know what variety it is, but it looked like thyme.

Hi Andy, I saw the plant you mentioned and it's definiely NOT Mentha australis. It looks a lot like Mentha diemenica. I have both plants growing at home and have come to know them quite well.

A word of warning on Aussie mints. They are quite high in pulegone, the toxic principal in oil of Pennyroyal. Take care using these plants in food.
