Hi everyone. My partner and I are planning a holiday to Northern Queensland, Townsville, Cairns etc. and would LOVE to hear from people who have local knowledge on what garden/botanical type stuff there is to see and do. Of course the Daintree is the big attraction for us and we'll be spending time there. Any ideas guys ? As some of you may have figured out we are MAD KEEN on spices, herbs etc...

Beats me why anyone would want to go to Queensland when we're having such lovely weather here.......said in a voice dripping with sarcasm and green with envy! mudlark

The weather up here aint so great at the moment. We are having mornings with temps going as low as 6 and even tho the day temps are going as high as 24....the winds are cold. So of course we are all rugging up and hoping frost does not go near the garden. You guys probably think we are all a bit lame. But when you are not used to it.... it really hurts.
