Finding lavender

| I know lavender is easy to find (especially Munstead, what is it with this variety anyway) but I'm not interested in the latest variety of L. angustifolia (or Munstead), I want green & woolly & Twickle Purple & L. latifolia but you think I can find somewhere that sells them?
Actually, I can but can I find somewhere that will send to Tasmania? There's Di's Delightful PLants but they have a minimum order of some quantity that's much more than I want to buy. (I could probably stand in the middle of my garden and touch the sides, I don't have room for a dozen plants that I don't really want). Anyway, short version, any ideas on where can I get these from? :( |

Hi, last time I went to Stoneman's Garden Centre (Glenorchy) they had quite a few varieties of lavenders, definately worth checking out, they have a website and email so perhaps they have an online catalogue?? :) |

| If you have no luck elsewhere you might like to try 'Cool River Herbs' at Nietta in the North West of Tassie. This lady has a massive range of herbs, she knows what she's talking about, and she adores lavender - so you might get lucky! Cheers |

| I forgot to get back to this thread! (Sorry). I haven't had any luck yet but as I've been slowly getting othr plants on "shopping list" I'm optimistic. I haven't come across Cool River Herbs before. I'll have to check them out (don't supposed they have a website?) Monissa |
