Looking for culinary rosemary

Hi
I am looking for a good strain of culinary Rosemary for cooking, especially mediteranean foods. I find the garden centre rosemary is selected for appearance and the flavour is often rank or camphor-ish, and not aromatic at all. I used to have an excellent rosemary in NZ which I grew from seed from a herbal specialist, and I am hoping some one can advise me where I can find the same thing here. I am in the Brisbane area. (Hope it grows here!)
Thanks

Contact the Queensland Herb Society (they have their own website with contacts), or BOG (Brisbane Organic Gardeners (or is it Growers?). Or contact Wendy Burke from Flowers and Flavours, somewhere near Ipswich. Sorry, I've lost all the address details (computer crash some time back). You'll be pleased to know that rosemary grows very well in Brisbane, in fact seems to like the humidity and the rain. Excellent drainage is essential.

Well, we think our (inherited) rosemary rather yum tho' we're no experts....it's growing as a large plant on top of a rock retaining wall in humid Mackay. It gets no supplementary water and is in excellent condition. I'm probably rash enough to offer you cuttings...email me if you want to follow up. Rose.

Try some of the Sunday Markets, I bought two very aromatic ones about three years ago, one died that was planted in the ground but the other is thriving in a big pot they dont like wet feet, but do grow in Brissie.

That Market is gone now since Sunday shopping started but I am sure you will find a aromatic Rosemary in one of the other Markets.
