I have 2 lavendar plants that are outgrowing their bed.

Is is okay to cut them back or Should I just transplant them this spring?

RE: Lavendar getting large

I would cut them back. This way they won't get too woody and scraggy. I haven't had much luck with transplanting biggish lavender plants. Just make sure you don't cut into the old wood of the lavender when you cut it back.

Good luck!
