Parsley & Mint Companion Planting

| Just reading a companion planting guide which states that parsley and mint are not keen on each other. Is this really so? And if so, is a metre apart enough distance to stop them sulking? |

| They really do not like each other at all. I'd plant them several metres apart. That's if I were crazy enough to plant mint in the garden at all, of course! I've known those aggressive mint roots travel vast distances underground (even under a concrete driveway!), and the runners travel overground a long way, too. Play safe, and put your mint in a large container. Mint also doesn't like chamomile, and parsley also doesn't like lettuce. |
Parsley & Mint get on OK in my garden

Hmm I have them both growing happily amongst each other - rampantly even! A mixture of cat mint, mint mint(common)& non curly parsley |

| I too have my mint and parsley growing together and have found no problems. |
