Indoor winter herbs

Growing herbs outside during winter is nigh impossible here due to very heavy frosts and occasional snow. However I do have a north facing fully glassed front sleep-out which I use as an office and also for seed raising and potting cuttings. Any suggestions for those culinary herbs which might be raised indoors during winter? I enjoy cooking and really miss fresh herbs during this time of the year.

Regards,
Ron...

Why not post your question on the American forum? Many more people with experience of severe winters and growing indoors. You could do some browsing there, using the search facility, because such questions have been asked many times, with plenty of useful responses. One key word you could try is 'overwintering'. I know you'll need not only to provide sunlight, but also warmth and a certain amount of humidity. And get them outside as quickly as you can in spring.
