| finally I've found some grubs eating my plants that I can put up with.
We've had Richmond birdwings doing the rounds of the garden - I'm not sure if they've laid eggs on the Richmond Birdwing vine - lets home.
Some that have been laying eggs and hatching good sized caterpilars are the swallowtails and the ulysses butterfly (magnificent blue wings). The swallowtail have started to knock my grapefruit and lemon tree around - but that's a price worth paying.
there's pics of australian butterflies and the caterpillars here: http://linus.socs.uts.edu.au/~don/larvae/butter.html |

| Pretty as they are paradisi, they are very greedy Hey I dont mind shareing my garden with anyone but as I do all the work I would like to be able to keep at least 50% of it to eat. Great website that I often look there myself. Cheers..MM. |
