what's happening? - message format anomily

| hey is it only me or have others noticed or are having the same thing occur??
since last night when i type a message even though i create paragraphs/sentences or new lines in the message they all get added together in one paragraph.
is it me or my computer (and if it is i haven't changed anything) or is it a problem from gradenweb??

ps: this message should show as 3 paragraphs/sentences, 1 thank you line and signature line. |

| Hi Len, I had the same expereince so it is not just you mate. This message is in paragraphs also but I will check out its format. Daniel Yes it is taking out the extra spaces. My GUESS is that the software has been amended to removed extra spaces in order to save room in whole operation. |

| thanks dan, just wonder how much space it will realy save if that's the case???? just imagining what a message is going to look like or be to read if it is a long message!! the side ads, banner and space allocated to pop-up must take up a lot of space on their own, going to look different if paragraphing isn't allowed. looks like html coding is turned off as well so i can't force paragraphs nor can i include my e/mail addy or web site addy neither of which detract from this site. len |

| Its not only the messages that are having trouble Len and Daniel. You cannot even post pics on through Photobucket, you have to do it the old way one by one. Maybe they want the extra room for their annoying adverts that everyone is complaining about. Cheers..MM.. |

| Yes guys, isn't it annoying? It is so much harder to read replies (especially if they are long and involved) when it is all bunched up together. I wonder if there is any point emailing them and telling them we don't like it. If enough of us did it, it may have some impact. In the green band at the bottom of the page you can click on 'letters and comments' and send them a message. I will if you will!! In fact I'm going to do it NOW!....Cheers, Dee. |

| Hi everyone, I have received a reply from Gardenweb. They are apparently having some technical problems with the formatting. So it looks like it's not a permanent thing (Yay!!). | I have been having the same trouble and I have also noticed that at the bottom when the page is loading, sometimes there is a different name. I thought there might have been a change of ownership or management or something. Obviously just a 'technical hitch'. |

| was going to say: looks like all is fixed things working as it used to now. i posted into one of the other usa forum pages and all seemed normal whatever normal is, but here in the au forums the problem still exists. len |

| Folks, I have written them another email this morning including that I know they are working on it and thanking them for their efforts in maintaining the Garden web as a GREAT place for us to communicate. I mentioned also that the pop ups seem to have become abnormally present and blocking garden web text. I guess it will not hurt but I stressed my appreciation for all they do. United - Daniel |

| Hey! The formatting is okay again. I was just about to post I'd received a response from GW to say they were still fixing it when I noticed that the post I was making retained correct formatting. Hurrah! |
