Quick Grower? Star Jasmine vs Mandevilla

Hello everyone,
I need to plant a vine to grow up my front veranda, in pretty much full sun. I really want a fast grower that will eventually line the top of my entire 15 metre front veranda, also would prefer evergreen or at least not completely decidous. Which of these two do you recommend? Star Jasmine or Mandevilla? And is there a better, even faster and more suitable vine?
Many thanks in advance.

I would think the star jasmine is a better option from experience. Mandevilla was always eaten by caterpillars of the common crow butterfly and was prone to red mite attack. Star jasmine seems more pest resistant (no caterpillars or mites). Both will shed some leaves but generally, star jasmine is denser. However, not knowing how these species stand up to frost in winter, my advice may only be good up to winter.
