peace lilly not flowering

hi helpers,my wifes peace lilly has not flowered for nearly a year.any suggestions would be great as i know little(my thumb isnt green)

It is most likely not getting enough light. Although these plants will grow in quite subdued conditions, they really need light to flower well. Perhaps move the plant closer to a window but not in direct sunlight.

thanks for quick reply Dee.moved it about 2 months ago to area of which you described.still no improvement.

Needs time, mine is at a south-west window and is flowering after a year in this position. Be patient as in the ad: "it won't happen overnight but it will happe" You can speed things along by feeding it with fertilizer rich in potash like phostregen

Also make sure it does not sit in a saucer of water. They don't like that.
