peace lilly not flowering

| hi helpers,my wifes peace lilly has not flowered for nearly a year.any suggestions would be great as i know little(my thumb isnt green) |

It is most likely not getting enough light. Although these plants will grow in quite subdued conditions, they really need light to flower well. Perhaps move the plant closer to a window but not in direct sunlight. Cheers, Dee. |

| Needs time, mine is at a south-west window and is flowering after a year in this position. Be patient as in the ad: "it won't happen overnight but it will happe" You can speed things along by feeding it with fertilizer rich in potash like phostregen |

Also make sure it does not sit in a saucer of water. They don't like that. Cheers, Dee. |
