| Many months ago I saw a photo on a mosaic site of some beautiful mosaics done on old frying pans. I can't find the mosaic site but knowing how helpful gardeners are, I wondered if anyone here can tell me where to find those photos. |

Hi Maddy, You might want to try the garden junk forum on the US section (got to gardenweb home page), I usually find heaps of mosaic stuff on there! Give us a yell if you need any help on how to do it, I have done a glass light shade, you know the ones that look like bowling balls. It looks great!!! Cheers, Mel... |

| G'day Maddy, Mosaics is a craft/hobby that whilst if you had a few lessons is would be helpfull, but you could also go to any good library and find a selection of books on the subject, then you could make your own "object de frypan" for your garden. You can use all manner of materials - tiles, glass, china, old beads and small bric-a-brac it is only limited by your imagination. But a warning - it is a little bit contagious - before long you will find all manner of discarded items to get a second life by using mosaics. Should you take up the challenge post a blog as I may be able to give you some tips |

Oh hi Pam! Gee, I have a photo of it somewhere!!! I can't find it at the moment, and seen as I've moved 4 hrs north, I can't just nip outside and take a piccy of it as it's still at my old house. I will find the photo though because I am quite proud of it as my first piece. Stay tuned... Mel.... |
