Do you have a gardening hat that keeps you cool and
comfortable. I need to cover my head as I get sick from too much sun. Could you recommend the type of material that circultes the air, (breaths) is it cotton.
Hats make me hot in the face like a beetroot and sweaty in the head my head pounds, and I feel claustraphobic.
I tried the Cancer Council with no luck. Is it possible to buy a good quality gardenung shade hat on the internet,I
can only get polyester in my little hick town.

Have you tried an Acubra? You reallycan't go past them for a good hat. I find that they tend to wick the moisture away, so you don't get too hot.

What about a straw type one, I find them about the best.

I bought a palm leaf hat in Borneo last year - it is very comfortable and light and I will be able to compost it when it reaches the end of its useful life.
