Hello,
Could you please suggest a small to medium shade tree.
Drought and frost tolerant,to give shade and rlief to plants in a dry open garden 7m x 3m running along a tin fence. I dont mind evergreen or deciduous but not a native,
just because they are too big and falling branches in my
neighbours yard. Can you think of something with a canopy
affect. Many thanks. |

| There are many natives which don't drop branches. Perhaps a melaleuca or acacia would be OK, at least to establish something in the garden. Some of the riparian species might be OK, but you would need to check if they can handle the drier conditions. I'm really not a fan of planting trees which are not indigenous, as they often cause havoc in the nearby bushland and bush remnants. |
