I saw these photo's on another site just this morning, not my photo's. I have no idea as to the name, but if it is this vine it may help to get an ID.

There is a vine called Allamanda cathartica which apparently grows a little too well in parts of Qld. Commonly called Yellow or Golden trumpet vine.
Cheers,
Dee.

Len, if it is the same as the ones flowering roadside around here it is probably the declared weed, Cats Claw Creeper. Flowers late Autumn - Spring with yellow bell -shaped flowers. Flowers look similar to Allamanda.

Hi again Len, I agree with the others. The cat's claw creeper (Macfadyena unguis-cati or Bignonia unguis-cati) is even more of a weed than the Allamanda. Cheryl's picture is the cat's claw creeper. Sorry if I confused the issue with a wrong identification. What can I say? I am only a humble Victorian! Lol.
Cheers,
Dee.
