A climber for a south facing wall????

I have an ugly expanse of wall around and across the entry to my double garage ... I want to plant a climber either side of the entry so that it will grow up and then across the top of the garage entrance to soften the look and hopefully add some colour and perfume.
HOWEVER it is dead set south facing wall - in Sydney's Turramurra (highest rainfall in Sydney) - so what can I plant?
I would prefer evergreen or semi deciduous.
I am happy to put a trellis up the sides and across the top ....
every plant I look at says: "full sun" - and this is not going to happen. |

| We had Chinese Star Jasmine on our southern side. I don't know if it's bothered by too much rain but my general impression is it's a pretty hardy reliable plant. Word of warning though, some people love the perfume but some people hate it so check that out before committing yourself. |
