Well that explains it, I should have bought Miss Jackie's not Mr. Pohlman's petunias. In fairnes to Mr. Pohlman mine were labelled Frilly not double. I was however after the petunias you posted some time back.....See, you influence my decisions with your photos. Please be more explicit with your next post in garden gallery and state time, brand, place of purchase and care instructions. Oh and colour combinations are good too. I am kidding....not chastising.
I hope your shoulder is feeling better. Are you seeing a physio. Sounds like a frozen shoulder. I tore all my shoulder muscles and it then developed into a frozen shoulder, incredibly painful. If they give you exercises to do then please do them, it makes all the difference.
Hope it feels better very soon. Jacqueline.

This is a bit off topic HJ but would you believe I had a phone call from a doctor at the Logan hospital before telling me he was looking through the X-rays from the week-end and he found that there were two cracks or was it chips on it, one in the back of the top on my arm and another closer to the neck ooohhhh so guess who is going back to eating lite yoghurt again. He told me there is not much I can do but rest it for a month and keep it in the sling, well you know that impossible, but he ticked me off when I told him I watered my roses yesterday with a bucket, he said dont do that it could happen to the left shoulder. I will do what he says.

Ok I get the message about the petunias will do so in future, they are pretty ones though I do hope you find some when you go looking again, Happy Gardening...Cheers..MM.

Hi all

I, too, was motivated to get the new double petunias from MMs photos.
Thanks MM!
I have justed planted the second lot tonight and have great hopes for them. The label clearly said "new double petunias-Lavender"
Sorry to hear about your shoulder MM.
2 years ago I shattered my right shoulder (8 breaks in the shoulder ball that rotates in the socket and 1 down the top of the arm to the elbow.
Oh dear ,I was out of action for 3 months and then for another 3-4 months recovering.
The pain was unreal.
Hope you can get it right.I had to be imobolised for the first 8 weeks.Couldnt move at all to enable the bones to knit back together.
Good luck with it.
cheers
Michelle
