| Well hopefully it will rain this weekend, we are absolutly desperate and unless it rains soon I hate to think how our open days will turn out.
This year we are open on 19th and 20th November between 9:30 to 4:30 the sat and Sunday. I have made a lot of changes this year and a lot of new planting including 120 Cordylines as well as Gingers Heliconias ect. I have a new area for Judys Brom's and a couple of new Gardens. Our Garden is yours for the weekend and the Lions club will again be providing refreshments and lunch. If you would like to have a preview of our Garden please go to our PhotoAlbum link is below, over 1300 photos all from our Garden. If you do decide to come please make youselves known, we will be very pleased to meet you. Judy will have lots of Bromeliads and other plants for sale all top quality and reasonably priced. Ian |

| I wouldn't miss. I enjoyed it enourmously last year and am looking forward to it even more this year. Some rain would be lovely, but I don't think anyone is going to hold our drought conditions against you. Thankyou for sharing your garden. By the way last years broms from your garden have grown very well too. |

| Do you take Visa? :))))) |

| Yes Ian I would not worry about it too much after all We are all in the same boat, unless you live Northside It only takes a good shower of rain to bring the grass back to green. Any way they say we should get a bit more rain over the weekend. And we will so your garden will look beautiful next month. Cheers...MM. |

| WE had 16mm of rain Friday night. It was enough to green the grass a wee bit. Still need some soaking rain. Just keeping everthing alive 'just'. Water restrictions are very anti Gardening as we can only water from 7pm to 7am. If we go out at 7pm we get eaten alive by mossies, step on cane toads and probably trip over a rock and break a leg. I wish they could of given us an hour of evening daylight to water. The garden WILL look good but obviously the drought has had it's effect on the garden. Ian |

| I'm sure there will be some saving rain between now and then, Ian, but you've done so much preparation your garden, if none other, will survive. Buckets permitted any time, when hoses aren't. Perhaps you could hand out a bucket of tank water at the gate, to any other willing visitors to pour somewhere that seems dry. A small task and a small help in watering, given the enjoyment your garden brings to so many hundreds. |

| Rain, rain beautiful soaking rain. Had nearly two inches of steady soaking rain. Managed to fertilize and top dress lawns just before. It is all going to grow like mad and be green. Wonderful timing. Ian |

| Very timely. Hope the grass does not grow too much we have not had lawn for 2 years & only mow when the weeds are bad enough. Even they are not growing I think I would not remember how to start the Victa. Well we shall come and walk barefoot on your lush green turf next month. And if you have had enough rain, please waft some south, barely a drizzle here all weekend. |
