Plant transport between Qld & Vic?

Would anyone know of a company that could safely truck a quantity of potted Bamboos from Queensland to Victoria? Have phoned around a bit but had no luck finding anyone that can do the job.

I had a banana pup delivered to me from the grower by Greyhound bus. But that was interstate and cost $11 just for one plant.

Your best bet would be to ask at independent/smaller nurseries, and see who they use. Might be worthwhile asking the interstate removalists too.

g'day dale,

did you try the courier companies?

the only catch you will have to buy some live plant cartons and pack them yourself, but at least they deliver door to door, would guess it is not going to be cheap.

there are a couple of franchise companies that are set up to pack up goods in cartons then deliver them, can't think of their names right now but a visit to yellow pages will give results.
