Covering a fence.

About 10 metres of fence. Fully shaded by huge Bottle tree and golden cane palms and huge (about 8 metre) triangle palm. I have pulled out about 10 monsterio.....was very jungle like. The 8 metres of fence is North, bottom of garden with golden canes is west.
What would be best thing to grow up over fence, which is 6ft paling....about 3 years old.
The ground is now basically bare so I need lots of under plantings.
Would a tree fern grow here too?
Would ideally like to play about with heliconias, orchids etc. Any suggestions? |

| If you are thinking climbing plants stephanotis is great, white very fragrant flowers and nice dark green leathery leaves. I am not in the subtropical zone, however bromeliads, cordylines, orrchids should do well, just plant them in an open mix. Have fun with your planting :-). |

| Ferns could be attached to the palms and tree.Meggs has some good ideas,coleus,calathea,Cycads you can get some smaller ones.Alocasia gageana is a lovely plant to have,I have plenty,greencroc. |
