Covering a fence.

About 10 metres of fence. Fully shaded by huge Bottle tree and golden cane palms and huge (about 8 metre) triangle palm. I have pulled out about 10 monsterio.....was very jungle like. The 8 metres of fence is North, bottom of garden with golden canes is west.
What would be best thing to grow up over fence, which is 6ft paling....about 3 years old.
The ground is now basically bare so I need lots of under plantings.
Would a tree fern grow here too?
Would ideally like to play about with heliconias, orchids etc. Any suggestions?

If you are thinking climbing plants stephanotis is great, white very fragrant flowers and nice dark green leathery leaves. I am not in the subtropical zone, however bromeliads, cordylines, orrchids should do well, just plant them in an open mix. Have fun with your planting :-).
