Canna Tropicanna?

Hi All,
Ive just been given a nice little clump of Canna Tropicanna.
My question/questions are...where should I plant them? Full sun, shade, part shade? How high do they grow

Canna Tropicana grow up to 1.8m or so. They like full sun to part shade with protection from frost and wind. They like plenty of moisture and will grow in quite a wet area. Protection from snails is a good idea especially when they are young.
