Gladioli corms - first time grower

When I lifted my gladioli corms last autumn, the corms had swelled and were surrounded by what seemed to be a million small corms. Can these small corms be replanted? If so, how long does it take for them to grow large enough to flower?

Also, I read somewhere that corms should be soaked in 'cleansel'. Does anyone know what this is and where I can buy it? I've asked at a few nurseries without any success.

The small offspring can be planted now in containers and will come up as small editions of the parent.if you wish you can label them with the colour. next year you should get flowers. My gladdies are well advanced as I try to beat the real heat.asfor soaking i only clean the corme when dry and put in a dry spot.
good luck!!
