 o
pots by the pool

We have recently had a pool put in and one side of the pool is paved right up to the fence line. It gets full sun. We want to put some pots along the fence line and try to block the fence and provide a screen between us and our neighbours. What should we put in these pots. I was considering bamboo!

Bamboo would be nice.
What about a lilly pilly or a taller succulent/cactus.
Fruit tree maybe?

If considering bamboo in pots, make sure you are aware of their high requirement for water when grown in pots. However if you have nice big pots a bamboo such as Bambusa textilis gracilis will look great.

RichardQLD is correct about Bamboo, great choice.
You might also consider Metrosideros 'Fiji', wonderful in pots.
You might consider drippers/mini prinklers to your pots for any of these plants? Easy to do and not expensive.
