Non-clumping climber for sunny area

I'm looking for the best climber to cover the fences in my back yard. All sides get plenty of sun, and I'd prefer something that will cover the fence, but not clump so much at the top? I thought maybe a climbing frangipani, or a black-eyed susan, but don't know. Also, how far apart do I need to plant them to get the best coverage? Thanks.

Ever thought about a Hibbertia? They have very nice big yellow flowers, and should cover the fence quite well. Not sure about spacing, but they should cover a reasonably large distance.
