Whats Up with my Desert Rose??

Hi ya all,
Something is obviously making my desert rose very unhappy? It has not been moved, usually not overwatered as I know they despise regular watering. New Roots coming from the bottom of the pot, but nothing serious? Can't see any visible pests, so any ideas??? Leaves are just yellowing and falling off all over, despite new growth on most branches. It's been a sudden turn of bad fortune it would seem....
Thanks guys,
Mel....

I don't know for certain, but mine is doing the same. Fresh growth looks fine, I suspect it is just drought response.

I don't know either Mel, as you say, normally overwatering is bad in winter. Then again they do NEED water. Mine have dropped leaves at the beginning of the cold season & a bit bare but hanging in.
I found this site when I googled, which did not provide an answer but I thought had some useful info on growing them and nutrition

You are right, they seem quite bug free. Scale can be a problem and young ones not so obvious if green along the middle of the leaf, but you would have noticed that.
Maybe its some sort of nutrition deficiency or maybe there is a problem with the drainage? What are they sitting on and are those a couple of little barleria seedlings popping up in the pots on the right side - I'm wondering if they've been sitting on the ground could the soil mix have been invaded by worms, ants or something else? Or maybe the evidence of roots through the drainage holes means its more than pot-bound and maybe the roots are suffering a little heat stress. If you are really worried right now would probably not be a bad time to de-pot and chech the root system and pot on into a larger container before the growing season?

What is the botanical name of your Desert Rose. Is it a tropical lover? Looks pretty sick, Maqybe a dose of epsom salts will so the trick.
